How does the technology work?

Using patented ultra-light sensor technology, the CMOS sensor is able to process the environment in colour at night. The Auroras can "see" at infrared wavelengths of more than 1100nm and this technology sets SiOnyx apart from other night vision devices. These components also provide unparalleled light output, so an infrared illuminator is not necessarily required.

Take photos and videos the way you want

The Aurora range of cameras gives you the power to take pictures and videos the way you want. Take advantage of the various shooting modes such as HDR, self-timer, time-lapse, panorama and burst mode. The cameras are also equipped with EIS (Electronic Image Stabilisation) to compensate for vibrations and correct blur. The recordings can be saved directly to a microSD card.

Streaming and remote control

All SiOnyx cameras can be connected to an Apple or Android device (phone and tablet) via Wi-fi. With the free app, it is possible for you to remotely operate the night vision equipment, live stream images and take pictures. You can operate the night vision camera from a distance of up to 25 metres (without obstructions).
